چکیده
ABSTRACT Using a combined spectral and light-curve modelling approach, we fit massive energetic explosion model to the luminous Type Ib/IIb SN 2020cpg. This has an ejected mass of ∼(7 ± 2) M⊙ with final energy ∼(6 1) × 1051 erg MNi = 0.27 0.05 M⊙. The early spectra are hot blue weak He i lines, complicated Hα region suggested be multicomponent feature. Modelling required ∼0.08 H at velocities >11 000 km s−1 total ∼1.0 >9500 above CO-rich ejecta. ratio kinetic 0.85$_{-0.3}^{+0.5}$ foe M⊙−1. high luminosity results in broadened line that is blended Si ii, C i, which led initial classification 2020cpg as Ib. We instead classify bright transitional event between Ib IIb classes. Comparing our parameters stellar evolution models, progenitor 25–30 M⊙, i.e. stripped most hydrogen shell some helium prior collapse produces core comparable mass. excess 56Ni production compared objects similar may suggest evidence additional sources such failed GRB or magnetar injection, smaller remnant

THE EXCEPTIONALLY LUMINOUS TYPE II-L SN 2008es
We report on our early photometric and spectroscopic observations of the extremely luminous Type II supernova (SN) 2008es. With an observed peak optical magnitude of mV = 17.6 mag and at a redshift z = 0.213, SN 2008es had a peak absolute magnitude of MV = −22.5 mag, making it the second most luminous SN ever observed. The photometric evolution of SN 2008es exhibits a fast decline rate (∼0.042 ...
متن کاملinvestigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures
deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
A most energetic type Ic supernova: SN 2003L
We present extensive radio observations of SN 2003L, the most luminous and energetic Type Ic radio supernova with the exception of SN 1998bw. Using radio data, we are able to constrain the physical parameters of the supernova, including the velocity and energy of the fastest ejecta, the temporal evolution of the magnetic field, and the density profile of the surrounding medium. We highlight the...
متن کاملMassive stars exploding in a He - rich circumstellar medium . II . The transitional case of SN 2005
We present photometric and spectroscopic data of the peculiar SN 2005la, an object which shows an optical light curve with some luminosity fluctuations and spectra with comparably strong narrow hydrogen and helium lines, probably of circumstellar nature. The increasing full-width-half-maximum velocity of these lines is indicative that the circumstellar material is accelerated by the SN ejecta. ...
متن کاملSn 2005kd: Another Very Luminous, Slowly Declining Type Iin Supernova
CCD U BV RI photometry is presented for type IIn SN 2005kd. The maximum luminosity exceeded MV = −19.8, and SN remained brighter than −18 mag for about 400 days. While overall photometric evolution is quite similar to SN 1997cy, SN 2005kd shows a plateau at phases between 119 and 311 days past explosion, which is a unique feature for SN IIn.
